Assalamualaikum, hello people...

Second chapter yaw! From Paris, we went straight to Milan. Again, by air, by RyanAir. It was only €25.99 yeah, sure very soo muchh cheap!We spent 3 days and 2 nights there. We rented an apartment somewhere near the city center. And yes, one thing to be noted, is to find a place to stay that is accessible by public transport and is near to the station. Why oh why is that so?? Well of course so that you don't have to go through the hassle and somewhat troublesome in finding the correct public transport just to get to places. And this could reduce your expenses as well yaw :)

Ohh I did mentioned that we spent 3 days there, right? But it was just a short visit though. To be honest, we just had a one-productive day minus the day we arrived and the day we left theheehee. Therefore, we just had the opportunity to visit the famous Duomo (Cathedral) of Milan. It is the symbol of the city. 

We originally planned to watch opera in Teatro alla Scala but there was no show on that day. All that we managed to do was to enter the museum. The entrance fee was €4, with a student card. Alhamdulillah, we got to see a rehearsal practice just enough to realize that our ears doesn't suit those kind of music. sorry guys! hehehe.  And from there, we walked and walked and walked. Just to see how the city and the people is.

We checked out on the next day, on the 20th, and went to Venice. This time it was by train, Trenitalia. Erm sorry...can't really remember the price lah but it was somewhere around €35. We just had a few-hours-visit in Venice we just transited on our way to Klagenfurt. Just went sight-seeing around the station area. Beautiful. Subhanallah. The area was surrounded with water.  

We then had out take-away lunch, photographing and bought some souvenirs. We performed our solat (prayer) at the station and then waited for our next train to Klagenfurt.

Yeah, nothing much in Venice. We may skip lots of things but we had a our good few hours there :) One thing that we missed for sure was the gondola ride!

:: Misi Jelajah Dunia 2013 - Paris ::

Assalamualaikum, hello people...

Update for my MisiJelajahDunia2013. First place. It's PARIS!! hah excited mak kiah theeheehee. We took direct flight from Dublin which cost us €35. Cheap meh?? Well, Alhamdulillah ada RyanAir :)

  

Sesampainya di Paris, we took a shuttle bus to the city. Tumpang beg jap dekat bilik kawan. Then went for sightseeing. Went to the famous The Eiffel Tower of couse!, The Louvre, The Grand Palais and few other places yang berhampiran. Jalan kaki je boleh hirup udara Paris sampai kembung kata makan angin kan haha. And since time ktorg pergi tu dekat-dekat nak Christmas, there was a Christmas Market. Pergilah lalu kejap. Saje nak tengok-tengok apa yang menarik. Nothing much pun dekat situ except for foods & those Christmas thingy.  

The next day weols pergi DisneyLand Paris. MasyaAllah..seronok betul mak kiah ni fefeeling kanak-kanak jap hahaha. One whole day was nicely spent there. Ticket ktorg valid for both 2 parks. Apa lagi, enjoy sakan lah mak kiah. Naik itu naik ini. Oh ya! For those yang suka adrenalin experience, I would recommend Hollywood Tower Hotel Oh God, for me, it was worst than a roller-coaster ride! They seriously shouldn't allow young fellas to ride this. Seriously.

A bit information about transportation yang ktorg naik dekat sini, ktorg naik train je. Hmm you need to be very patient for this lah sebab the trains are sooo many that you could confused yourself. Tengok map dia pun bertambah-tambah pening haha. But no worries, if sesat, you can just ask penduduk yang nampak macam boleh dipercayai. They would reply in French but insyaAllah you would  find your way back. Well, this is what we call experience kan. A very meanigful one :)

Oh haa..most probably you would be approached by few men yang jual souvenirs dekat area Eiffel & Louvre tu kebiasaannya orang kulit hitam. And insyaAllah they won't harm tapi just be extra careful. They sell miniatures and key-chains of The Eiffel Tower. But illegally lah hehe. So, if you are looking for a cheap souvenir, buy from them. Try lah tawar-menawar. Very cheap! 6 cute keychains for €1 only maa. One of my friend got a 'free' miniature sebab time tengah duk tawar-menawar, tetiba si penjual lari sebab nampak polis Paris yang ber-rollerblade. If you wanna buy other souvenirs such as fridge magnets and t-shirts, kena pergi kedai lah ye :) 

And please please please always beware of pickpockets. A friend of mine lost her purse here, in Paris. They are everywhere though. Avoid crowds. Keep an eye both eyes. every eye that you might have! on your belongings. You just can't afford to be careless especially as a tourist. High probability that you are the main target. And as a Muslim, we should never forget to seek protection from Allah SWT. Recite Ayatul Qursi as you leave a place to the other, insyaAllah it would help true experience!

:: Misi Jelajah Dunia 2013 - Plan Ahead ::

Assalamualaikum, hello there...

For this entry, I would share some useful info regarding the mission thingy. Some basic useful info that's worth to take note of and to plan ahead. Transportation, accomodation & makan-makan halal. The guide would be more or less the same between countries and so to avoid repetition, these things would probably not be included in each-country entry theeheehee

TRANSPORTATION. Travel within EU countries ni lebih murah if you guys travel by air sebenarnya. Dublin to Manchester could be as low as €20 tau. Lucky enough, some tix could be less than €10 during promo. *jaw-dropping yaw* How can it be that cheap mehh? I hear you ask heheh. Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah and thanks to RyanAir for providing such cheap flights. Equivalent to AirAsia. So, if you guys are looking for a cheap flight to fly back-and-forth within EU maaf, RyanAir is only for those yang berada within EU countries jela ye this would be the most visited website for your Europe tour plan ok. 1-2 months before travel date dah boleh start usha for the prices :)

Other than that, you could opt for train especially for countries yang tak di-cover by RyanAir. Mana-mana yang gayat takut naik flight tu boleh opt for this hehe. But it is expensive yaw. Milan to Venice costs €40. Now you see what I meant by travel by air is cheap, kan? But wait!! You could still find a worth offer lah. This is where Eurail comes to the rescue. You could find few good offers from the website. Choose either the Select Pass if you're going to less than 5 countries or the Global Pass for an access to the whole EU yeah I know. cliche advertising kan? tapi betul.. wa tarak tipu sama lu olang punya haha. A bit tedious sebab kena cari route especially yang doesn't need reservation but just install Eurail apps je :)

Other transports untuk bergerak such as from your hotel ke tempat-tempat menarik tu macam biaselah, naik je bas or train and tram or jalan kaki. Would only cost few bucks je. Try to look for group option if you guys travel in group, normally min 5 person. Biasanye dapat murah lah sikit compared to individual tix.

ACCOMODATION. No need to talk much. Just a google-ing activities would help. Tons and tons of websites to be looked at haha. We booked from RyanAirHotels, Olotels and Airbnb. Advice, book early if you wanna get the most cheapest accommodation.

MAKANAN HALAL. Nothing much either. Hmm try to look around. Or smartphone users can use apps such as Zabiha.com. InsyaAllah you would find few shops and restaurants that sell kebab. That's all you can feed yourself with. Nak nasi lemak daun pisang memang takde lah kan If you're lucky, maybe you could find any Malaysian restaurant nearby :) Other option, bawaklah few packets of mee segera or just buy some raw ingredients and then masaklah sendiri. Fresh bread dorg pn insyaAllah halalal toyyiban. Tapi tengok-tengoklah jugak ye dekat bahan-bahan dia sebab some of them might contain alcohol.

Uhukk uhukk..fuuhhhh. Haiya manyak butui habuk maa :D Sebenarnya banyak benda nak share tapi..... Busy. Lazy. Sorry. Excuses :)

Okay as the title goes, sebenarnya nak kongsi cerita lah sikit pasal my experiences touring Europe. Baru je balik semalam ni haa. This entry is just an intro jela :) InsyaAllah they'll be shared separately by countries.

Alhamdulillah syukur diberi rezeki & peluang untuk travel to few countries in Europe. Antara yang diberi kesempatan, Paris - Italy - Austria - Switzerland - Germany - Belgium.

Surely when you travel, thousands expriences, moments and memories are created. Yang baik, buruk, sedih, gembira, semua ada. Met variety of people. Muhasabah. Bak lirik lagu, "..berjalan bermusafirlah. Melihat kebesaran Tuhan. Yang diciptakan untuk mereka yang berfikir & bersyukur.." wahh gituu!

Well, kitorg spent dalam 17 days jugak lah untuk tour ni. Starting from 15th Dec 2013 up until 1st Jan 2014. Haaa enjoy kaw2 punya lepas exam! hahaha. And yeah, travelling Europe during winter isn't recommended by many. Sebab sejuk & siang pendek, so you might end up staying in the hotel longer than sight-seeing. But you should go if you guys berhajat nak main snow in different countries macam lah there would be any different kan? Plus, not bad what jalan-jalan waktu malam. Just need to be extra careful jela :)

 

Total costs spent, hmm.. around €1,000 per person jugak lah. Penyumbang utama kemahalan cost? Transportion & accomodation, especially last minute booking. So it would be better to book things as early as possible to avoid high costs. Plus if anda travel in a group, insyaAllah boleh la kurangkan cost accomodation sikit :)
